Colyn De Graaff is a communications director, intercultural advisor, and designer living in Canada. He launched Cold Open Stories with the goal of merging Warhammer's setting with the presentation of old time radio, and to tackle the stigma behind fan fiction and give amateur authors a place to explore non-canon stories.

Jack Shelton is a Primary School Teacher in the UK. He is an avid reader, especially of fantasy and science-fiction, and has been a fan of all things Warhammer since he wandered into a Games Workshop store as a young boy.

Joy Snow is a small town girl from Ohio who turned to science fiction and fantasy to escape the drudgery of daily life. Years later, that desire for escapism has blossomed into a full blown addiction to the genre, full bookshelf, a batch of very expensive painted plastic, and a head full of historical knowledge for worlds that don't exist except in stories.

Joyce Ch'ng / Chng (Chill) lives in Singapore. Her fiction has appeared in The Apex Book of World SF II, We See A Different Frontier, Cranky Ladies of History, and Accessing The Future. Joyce also co-edited THE SEA IS OURS: Tales of Steampunk Southeast Asia with Jaymee Goh. Her RPG experience started with Demon: The Descent (Onyx Path). She writes about werewolves in Singapore and werewolf clan wars in space.

Geneviève is a Canadian military wife and mother of three children. Her fascination with Warhammer first began when she stumbled across an online role play for the setting. She has successfully published many short stories in multiple literary magazines. Since then, she has interviewed many Black Library authors and is an admin on the Warhammer Homebrew Discord Server.

Jonathan Ojeda is a musician, writer and audio engineer. His love for Warhammer40k began with the infamous Dawn of War during his high school years. Shortly after, he joined the US Army where he began Pathios Productions stationed at Ft. Stewart GA in early 2012 with just a guitar, mic and laptop. Throughout the years in his service he continued to write and develop audio dramas, it wasn’t until around 2018 that he decided to write stories based in the grand universe of Warhammer40k. Now he continues to write stories based in the lore helping others gain a foothold in the craft of audio dramas/narrations.

Orniris Terensi is an illustrator, concept artist, and sculptor of fantasy and science fiction and lives in Barcelona, Spain. Stephen Abdallah is a filmmaker based in Sydney, Australia. He is a long time Warhammer fan and a maniacal terrain and diorama tinkerer. Primarily a visual person, it wasn’t until hearing Cold Open Stories’ 'However Small, However Hidden' that the full possibilities of audio drama were revealed. He attributes his love of miniatures to his Grandfather’s train sets, and his love of English and editing to his Grandmother’s firm threats that he should finish his homework.

Tim McGrady, a.k.a. TauMan, has been for over twenty years a professional technical writer, in the medical and manufacturing industries. He has been playing WH40K since 2005, when his son convinced him to buy the Battle for Macragge starter set. The thoughtless act of buying himself a set of metal Tau Pathfinders has since led him down the path of writing WH40K lore fiction in 2012. Since 2015, he has worked on the Expanded Tau Lexicon on the Advanced Tau Tactica website, and in 2020, he joined the Cold Open Stories staff as an editor.
